RURIS AS140MMA welding machine, with an amperage of 140Ah, it is a state-of-the-art inverter device that differs by incorporating the latest type of technologies. • MMA welding technique

RURIS AS140MMA welding machine is intended for MMA ( welding with coated electrodes ) for maintenance and repair work.

Ruris introduces the arc welding range (for electrodes ) inverter-type MMA with large amperage scale, which has the advantage over classical welding with a transformer due to the fact that the device is ergonomic, easy to transport and can ensure an electronic control of the amperage ( working current intensity ).

RURIS AS140MMA welding machine can work with basic or rutile electrodes with a diameter of 1.6 mm – 3.2 mm. Greater amperage means continuous and longer use during welding, as well as a wider range of electrodes.

Ruris electrodes canbe of two categories – Basic and Rutile –, the choice between them is made as follows:

Ruris Rutile electrodes, are used mainly for low alloy steels, for welds that require a pleasant appearance. After the formation of the welding cord, on the surface of the weld remains the slag that detaches itself. At the same time, these Rutile Ruris electrodes do not leave traces of slag or splashes.

Ruris Basic electrodes, are used more for high alloy steels, but also for low allied ones ( table, pipes ), and after the formation of the welding cord, on the surface of the weld remains slag which must be removed by hitting it with a hammer.

The thickness and type of steel to be welded, the working speed ( welding ), the thickness of the welding electrode, must be selected according to the amperage offered by the Ruris welding machine, for high welding resistance of materials.
