 S.C. RURIS IMPEX S.R.L is a Romanian farm equipment producer, which covers the whole area of works necessary in micro-agriculture. Our goal is to sustain the farmers with an entire range of products and services, making their work easier and more efficient. Starting 2006 we enlarged our array of equipment and we developed a network of partners and service points which covers 95% of Romania's surface. |
National Contest "Eurocosasul Ruris", Edition I, June 2009 |
For the first time in Romania, RURIS organized in the month of June, near Horezu, a speed-mow contest. "Eurocosasul RURIS", as it was called gathered 14 brush cutter experts from the departments of Alba, Arges, Dolj, Olt, Teleorman, Maramures, Mehedinti, Valcea and Vrancea, that competed for the fastest scythe man in the country. Each competitor had to mow 100 square meters in the fastest time possible and after the cutting the grass shouldn't exceed 10cm. All participants were encouraged by friends and locals, which applauded to the echo their fans. First prize was won by Nicusor Cristian Andrei, from Turnu Severin, that managed to mow the entire surface in 4 minutes and 53 seconds. He was rewarded with 3.000 lei and a professional Ruris brush cutter. According to "Eurocosasul RURIS" rules, the next year event will be held in winners' department, which means that the competition will move to Mehedinti, where the organizers promise that will gather scythe men from all over the country.
